TEI Rock Drills Inc. manufactures drilling attachments and limited access drills in Montrose, Colorado USA. These drills are used to install soil nails, tiebacks, micropiles, blastholes etc. for the construction and mining businesses. Founded in 1980 by Bill Patterson, Tech Enterprises Inc., as it was known then, began the long journey to where TEI now stands as the worlds leading manufacturer of drilling attachments and limited access drills.
TEI concentrates on building relationships with our customers and employees to provide a value in service not seen in most industries. Annual schools for hollow bar installation, hydraulics and renewable energy are just one of the ways TEI works to help build our customers business, and then ours in return. Every fall the TEI Open House is held to showcase new equipment, learn about new technologies, brush up on old ones and meet new friends from the TEI family.
