Beretta T43
The Beretta T43 is manufactured in Milan, Italy by TEI Rock Drill's partners the Beretta family. This relationship has been ongoing since the year 2000.
The T43 is a very simple rig used for limited access installation of micropiles. The separate diesel power pack can be separated from the drill rig by a 20-meter set of hoses; one additional set of hoses can be used if needed. The hydraulic system is based on four stacked gear pumps with pumps 1 and 2 for the rotary head or drifter, pump 3 for the mast and pump 4 for the auxiliary water or misting pump.
The rubber tracks open and close between 700mm-1000mm, the mast is also sectional to accommodate 1, 1-1/2 and 2 meter drill rods. Double clamps are standard on all T43s.
Having 4,500 ft/lbs of torque and 8,800 lbs. of pullback the T43 is capable of installing micropiles up to 8-inch in diameter and up to 75 feet in depth.
