The Beretta T57 GEO was designed to be a compact and affordable rig for the installation of geothermal heat loops. Geothermal has been popular in Europe for many years and is now taking hold in the USA. The T57 GEO strips away the unnecessary items from drill rigs and puts them into a package made to simply perform.
The hydraulic system uses gear pumps and direct hydraulic controls. The kinematics have been removed, the T57 GEO will only drill a straight vertical, just what you need for installing loops. Only what is needed to drill a 500-foot hole will be found here.
There are different types of water and mud pumps available for the T57 GEO for mud rotary drilling. But the best part of the T57 GEO is the inclusion of double rotary heads. Using these heads the casings and drill pipe are turning in opposite directions resulting in a straighter and fast hole. It has been proven over and over that dual rotary drilling is the fastest way to place casing in a variety of ground conditions.
