RDS250 Hydraulic Rotary Head
The RDS250 is the smallest rotary head manufactured by TEI Rock Drills. Although small it has 1,000 ft/lbs of torque and will turn up to a 4-inch down hole hammer as well as a 6-inch auger.
Breaking drill pipe is easier with the RDS250 as it comes with an option of using a bowl and slips breakout for our CA21 drill pipe. For API and other smooth pipe there is a standard hydraulic clamp available.
The RDS250 is used on the ACF series of feeds. This is incorporated into the MME and the Man-Portable line of drills.
