For sale, system designed to use high RPM rotary with low energy percussion to extract core samples quickly, in a radioactive environment.

This system was designed, assembled, and purchased from TEI about 5 years. It was only turned on once in the TEI facility shop to approve operation (2 hour run time - not used in field) prior to taking receipt of it for government program that was never implemented. Has been in storage since 2005 under tarp in arid climate. Will need some work to install fresh filters, batteries, etc.

RDS350 rotary/TE250 percussion head with HCF Feed. Built on a removable horizontal platform skid (powder coated with hydraulic level adjustment). Can be disassembled in to 3 pieces for storage/transport. Currently rigged and outfitted for core sampling. Several sets of custom made bits (diamond and tungsten/carbide for hard rock penetration). Includes Torus Type-K Blow Out Preventer (annular seal). 30' (approximate) drill rod, guides, centralizers, saver subs, reamer shells, split spoon core barrel sample sleeves, Victaulic/hydraulic break-up clamp, etc. Added onboard instrumentation: pressure, airflow.

Remote operation pendant with long umbilical. All cables to interconnect air, hydraulics, electric.

Self-contained support skid system:

• Van air unit with Cummins Diesel #1; Sullair compressor (185CFM @ 150PSI); Oil Cooler; Hydraulic PTO;
• Cummins Diesel #2 with Onan 18kW electric generator
• Water injection pump and +50 gal poly tank

TEI Rock drill with the 4008 Euro-drill with grout swivel and extra 12' mast for tight access. Under 600 hours - asking $66,000.00 as single unit. I paid almost $110,000.00 new.

Custom made hydraulic power unit. 110 hp diesel engine. Good to 50 gpm at 3000psi. The flow and psi can be controlled with the unit. It is designed to run the TEI drill and the chemgrout at the same time if necessary. It runs very well. It has low hours. Paid $26,500.00. Asking $17,500.00.

Chemgrout CG-600 Colloidal mixer. Paid $27,500.00 asking $19,500.00.

30 foot Hederer built Trailer with triple axel, oak wood flooring and two speed crank for lifting the legs. Trailer drives very smooth. The total GVW is 21,000 lb. I am asking $4,000.00 for the trailer.

This is a perfect package for someone getting into the micro pile industry or for someone adding a crew to their company. If some were to by the whole unit as a package I would be willing to sell everything for $100,000.00 US. That is a savings of $71,000.00.
